海派盆景
中国的盆景艺术，历史悠久，源远流长，是中国历史文化宝库中一块璀璨夺目的艺术瑰宝。
海派盆景以特色鲜明独树一帜而蜚声海内外，是中国重要的盆景流派之一。上海植物园是珍藏、研究和创作海派盆景的基地，早在1954年龙华苗圃（上海植物园前身）创立以后，就大量收集和制作盆景，历经五十年的收集、引种、研究、创作，形成了自身的鲜明特色。
At the time of the 30th anniversary of the founding of Shanghai Botanical Garden and the 22th anniversary of the founding of Shanghai-style penjing (potted landscape) ,I am so glad to hear that more then two hundred master-pieces of penjing treasured by Shanghai Botanical Garden for years will be pictorialized for publication . Ithink it's meaningful.
The penjing ,which has a long history and was well established,is a dazzling art rarity in Chinese historical and cultural mine.
